TV Production Dissertation: "How are Stereotypes Used in Soap Opera?"

This is the dissertation I wrote for my final year of my Television Production Course at the University of the Creative Arts in Rochester. In this dissertation, I discuss how the usage of stereotypical characters in soap opera can be both beneficial and a hindrance in regards to storytelling.
Other areas discussed are the affect of soap opera on society and vice-versa.
This dissertation was graded B.
